The Minnetonka Police Department posts weekly public information reports in accordance with the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. Reports are posted by noon each Wednesday. Requests for specific reports must be made to the police records staff Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Requesting police department records
Police department records may be requested Monday—Friday between the hours of 8 a.m.—4:30 p.m., or by sending a request by mail to the Minnetonka Police Department, 14600 Minnetonka Blvd., Minnetonka, MN, 55345. Please include a self-addressed, postage-paid envelope with your request.
The city charges $0.10 per page for black-and-white copies and $0.30 per page for color copies, plus appropriate postage for mailed responses. The city does not charge for the first 10 copies but will begin to charge for pages 11 and beyond. Requests are also accepted via email and fax at no charge, depending on the nature of the data requested. Please call 952.939.8500 about these options. Special requests are charged by the hour to cover the cost of personnel.
