Tony Wagner
Ward 2 voters elected Tony Wagner to his first term on the Minnetonka City Council in November 2003 and re-elected him in November 2007. A resident of Minnetonka since 1997, Tony first became actively involved in the city in 2002 when he was appointed to the Planning Commission, which he subsequently chaired in 2003. Tony currently serves on the Economic Development Authority, the Upper Minnehaha Creek Corridor Steering Committee, and the Southwest Light Rail Policy Committee.
Tony graduated from Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and a minor in political science. Today, Tony is employed by Minnetonka-based Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a division of Carlson Companies, where he serves as vice president of meetings and events for North America. He and his wife, April, live in northeastern Minnetonka.
