Boards & Commissions
Do you want to be involved in your local government? The Minnetonka City Council places a high value on obtaining citizen input. One of the ways they accomplish this is through their advisory boards including:
- Charter Commission
- Minnetonka Community Commission
- History Commission
- Economic Development Authority
- Park Board
- Planning Commission
- Police Advisory Committee
- Senior Citizen Advisory Board
- Ad Hoc Committees
In addition to the boards, commissions, and committees, the mayor appoints ad hoc committees to advise on specific issues from time to time.
Upcoming meetings are available on the city calendar. Agendas and minutes for meetings are available on the meetings page for each board or commission.
If you’re interested in participating, please download an application (PDF) or for more information, call 952.939.8211.
Applicants must have a desire to serve their community in a volunteer capacity and be willing to contribute the number of hours necessary, for the particular group to which they are applying. Applicants are interviewed by the city council and selections are made as openings occur throughout the year.
