Descriptions and availability
Meeting rooms
Minnetonka residents and Minnetonka-based businesses may reserve meeting rooms up to 12 months in advance; non-residents up to 6 months in advance. A white board is available in each room. Easel pads are available in most rooms or can be obtained by advance request. TV/VCR/DVD units are available for a $15 charge. Overhead projector, slide projector, and projection screens are available at no charge.
Shady Oak room
This room will accommodate up to 36 with 8-6' tables and 36 chairs. It can be set up classroom style (tables and chairs facing front), boardroom style with one large table configuration and chairs all around, or with the tables pushed to the back of the room and the 36 chairs set up theater style. It has 2 collapsible walls that can be closed, dividing the space into either 2 separate rooms, one larger than the other and each with its own entrance, or into thirds. This room is available Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m.–10 p.m.
Gray’s Bay room
This room will accommodate 12 in a boardroom configuration only. It is available Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m.–10 p.m.
City Council chambers
The Council Chambers may be used as a meeting room. It will seat up to 90 theater style only. City Council and other public meetings have first priority for use of this room. No food or beverages are allowed within the Council Chambers, and the chairs must not be rearranged. This room is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–10 p.m., and Saturday/Sunday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
The following rooms are available:
- Monday through Friday: 5 p.m.–10 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m.–10 p.m.
Minnetonka Mills room
This room will accommodate up to 40 with 8-6′ tables and 40 chairs. It can be set up classroom style, boardroom style, or, with the tables pushed to the back of the room, seating for 40 theater style.
St. Alban’s room
This room will accommodate up to 24 with 4-6′ tables and 24 chairs. It, too, can be set up classroom style, boardroom style, or theater style for 24.
Oak Knoll room
This room will accommodate 12 in a boardroom configuration only.
Burwell Room
This is our smallest conference room with seating for 8 at one table.
