Find guidelines for handling multiple carts at the curb for pick-up on the same day.

If you find yourself with multiple carts at the curb for pick-up on the same day—recycling, garbage, yard waste, etc.—be sure to leave at least two feet of space between carts to enable the collection truck’s lifting arm to grab the cart.
