In general, load limits are placed on city streets beginning March 15 and continue until May 15. Spring road restrictions may vary based upon weather conditions. Most city streets are posted at 6 tons per axle. For more information, call 952.988.8400.
Load limits are posted on city streets. Seasonal load limits are posted in the spring. Those limits may range from 4 ton per axle to legal weight of vehicle dependent on the condition of the street surface. A majority of the city streets are posted 6 ton per axle. Typically load limits are from March–May dependent upon the weather conditions.
