All positions require that you complete an application form (PDF) or fill out an online application. You can also call 952.939.8203, or visit the Recreation Services office Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., to obtain a full application.
Recreation Services offers many part-time jobs throughout the year. Apply early as positions are filled as early as possible. It’s never too early to apply. You must be at least 16 years of age.

Williston Fitness Center
All positions are eligible for free single membership.
- Land and Water Aerobics Instructor
Land and water aerobics instructors must have prior experience teaching a variety of classes. Water aerobics instructors must have experience teaching water aerobics and/or water arthritis classes. Certifications are preferred. Hours range throughout the day from Mondays through Saturdays. Starting pay is $17–$30/hour depending on qualifications.

Aquatics Programs
- Water Safety Instructors and Aides
Instructors and aides needed to teach swimming lessons weekday evenings and Saturday mornings starting in September.
Water Safety Instructors: $10/hour, certification required.
Water Safety Aides: $8.25/hour, training provided.
Lifeguard training and CPR certifications preferred.
