Voting machine demonstrations
Do you need help marking your ballot when you vote? Do you know someone who needs help?
There is a new device for people who have trouble marking a ballot with a pen. The new device—the AutoMARK—has special features, including:
- Audio headphones, so you can hear directions on how to mark your ballot.
- High-contrast, zoom-in and zoom-out features if you have trouble seeing.
- A keypad, touchscreen, toggle switch or foot pedal to help you mark your ballot.
- A port for a “sip-and-puff” device if you’re unable to move your limbs.
Want to try out the AutoMARK? Demonstrations will be held at these Hennepin County facilities from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.:
