Primary election results
Ward 4 only
Ward 4 voters participated in a primary election September 11, 2007, to select the two Minnetonka City Council candidates whose names will appear on the November 6 general election ballot. Four candidates filed for this council position, including Steve Arnold, James Hiller, Tom Sawyer, and Al Thomas (incumbent).
Because Wards 1 and 2 each had only one candidate file—incumbent Bob Ellingson in Ward 1 and incumbent Tony Wagner in Ward 2, and Ward 3 had only two candidates file—Kevin Ray Smith and Brad Wiersum (incumbent), these wards were not included in the primary and will go directly on the general election ballot.
