City repositions for long-term budget balance
In the wake of the governor’s unallotment decisions in mid June, cities and counties throughout the state are now making difficult decisions about staffing and service levels to absorb these state cuts. The city of Minnetonka anticipated the cuts more than a year ago, and has already implemented various measures to reposition itself to ensure its long-term capacity to continue to provide residents with the quality services they have come to expect.
